OZMA’s originality : a searching spirit, a universe of sonic interactions, and truly melodic compositions. On one hand OZMA seems to be a mutant jazz band, on the other, an electric jungle of sounds,a group of nowadays, working within the heritage of rock, jazz, and experimental musics. John Hollenbeck, Dave Holland, Medeski, Miles Davis, Cinematic Orchestra are never far away, like echoes of a climate that drives the listener far away from his seat.
